Designed a concept beer can label for Hozlager Brewing Company in collaboration with McHenry County College. The title “Agrarian” was given through MCC’s agricultural department, with beer can labels following that theme.

The word " Agrarian " is defined as: cultivated land or the cultivation of land. Many can imagine farming or crops being tended to. The concept design for the Agraian can was to look deeper into its definition.

The target audience would be those who are 21+, enjoy their local craft beers, and are interested in illustrative storytelling. The label provides a deeper story within the cycle of farming.

Developed a packaging design that would portray the time before cultivation. The dried desert background and ram skull represent the harsher and more rugged struggles of farming and rural life. While the title of agrain slowly being put together represents the difficult steps of cultivating land, with its green contrast. The two elements combined create the cycle of farming. Where land was untouched, rough and dry, to a more lively and green with growth.
