Yulu foods gives the opportunity for everyone to enjoy pan-asian flavors within their own home. A packaging redesign was developed to modernize their shelf appearance and better tailor the brand to their audience.
The target audience for Yulu foods is the younger generation such as Generation Z. They also aspire to reach families who enjoy pan-asian flavors. Their audience can also include those who enjoy typical bubble tea drinks.
Their current packaging is consistent, bright, and friendly but often confusing with its typographical hierarchy. Its logo is drowned out, making its presence minimal and blending with other boba brands.
The focus of the redesign was to modernize its appearance towards the younger generation while still keeping the fun and bubbly aesthetic. The new identity focuses on clear typographical hierarchy and playful illustrations ready for a perfect media post.
